Our mission is to provide a platform that consolidates resources and information for people outside of the Big 5 social media platforms, where it gets buried in posts, behind locked accounts and manipulative algorithms. We embrace the transparency of shared community advice and information.

Our Mission

We support and prioritize the people who are least represented in and outside of the rainbow umbrella. This is an organization that puts people of color, disability, size, education, locational and financial oppression first. To put it plainly, we are tired of people who look like Ellen and Anderson Cooper representing our community, and getting first access to resources, when it is so incredibly diverse and disenfranchised. We are exhausted with social media platforms and corporations that take our money but do not give back and when they do they only think of the people already mentioned.

We want a place where people can talk about the solutions they found to specific crises in their lives, so other people do not have to go through them as well. A place where people do not have to fear outting themselves to coworkers and friends who follow them when discussing physical limitations, needs for legal advice, future medical procedures or their financial situations.

We are a curated community of listeners and doers, who pride ourselves in sorting through the noise so you don’t have to.

Meet Us

Queer Global is run by a Black trans/pan/poly/not-so-able-bodied man and a multi-racial pan/poly musician, business owner, stylist and vintage clothing expert.

Deacon O’Connor was born and raised in a hidden dimension called Central New Jersey. He began his television career at the age of sixteen. Two decades later he continues as a cameraman and jack of all trades in entertainment production in the Tri-State Area. His work can be seen on ABC, NBC, CBS, Bravo, BET, FOX, NatGeo, SyFy and The BBC networks. Deacon’s hard work and technical expertise can be seen on the 2013 Peabody award winning special “DL Hugely: The Endangered List”. He strives to create the best experience possible and does so while collaborating with local artists on projects in New York City’s nightlife. Deacon is the author of best selling theoretical novel “I Grew Up on 21 Jump Street, Stop Calling Me A Goddamn Millennial!” His mission is to leave the world a better place than he found it.

D ‘arcy Holmberg is a Vintage Clothing Dealer and Stylist, whose work has been featured on Masters of Sex, Halt and Catch Fire, and American Horror Story: Hotel. By night, she is a multi-faceted, lifestyle-based BDSM educator, facilitator and musician. She serves as curator and host to immersive Queer and Kink events, and as the frontwoman for the band ADORNS, performing throughout New York City’s music and nightlife venues. A proudly queer biracial woman of color, D’arcy is Los Angeles native that has called Brooklyn home since 2010.

Queer Global is a worldwide masterlist for marginalized peoples in the Queer community. QG will provide links and information to surgeons, doctors, therapists, and more with specialized expertise in servicing and supporting overlooked races and bodies, as well as a comprehensive listing of worldwide events, support groups, product lines and queer-owned companies that cater to marginalized peoples.

Building a site like this takes time, and of course, money. that’s where you come in. Your donations will help us pay for our web domain, the necessary hardware to create our operations HQ, as well as the work of graphic and web designers to help us achieve our goal of creating this groundbreaking platform for Queer interaction and support.
